About

​Offaly School of Special Education caters for pupils from the ages of four to eighteen with a range of educational needs including severe and profound general learning disability and ASD. The school is under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of the diocese of Meath and funded by the Department of Education. The school day starts at 9am and finishes at 2.40pm.


In collaboration with our multi-disciplinary team, we endeavour to meet the individual needs of all our pupils.

​We offer a broad, balanced and vibrant curriculum, with high expectations for all pupils and staff. We maintain strong links with the local and wider community to help enrich the educational opportunities available to our pupils.
