We recorded a video which was shown on the night of the ball, outlining why this fundraiser was necessary and how the money will be used. Click on the button below to watch:

In addition to the Black Tie Ball Fundraiser, we have been humbled by the support of our community. Here are some recent examples:

Durrow National School Fundraiser

As mentioned above, after we had calculated what we thought was our final figure, we received some additional funds. €300 of this came from Durrow National School who held a bake sale to raise money for the children in our school. We were blown away by this gesture. Some of our students collected the cheque last Friday and had a fabulous time visiting Durrow National School, joining in in their morning assembly and rocking it out to Freddie Mercury! A massive thank you to all who organised and supported this event.

Credit Union Community Fund

We are also delighted to announce that we have been successful in attaining funding from two credit unions in the county. Both Tullamore Credit Union and Croi Laighean Credit Union in Edenderry have accepted our applications to their Community Funds and have awarded us €3000 and €1000 respectively. This further boost to our fundraising account is very much appreciated.

Castle Paints and Print Sky

We reached out to Castle Paints in Tullamore and Print Sky in Edenderry to help us give our main entrance hall a make-over in time for the video shoot for the ball. Both of these companies were quick to lend their support and expertise. Together, they have brightened up our space and our lives.

Tullamore Dew Distillery

When staff at Tullamore Dew heard about our fundraising efforts, they very kindly made us co-beneficiaries of a charity Pitch & Putt event that they were running.

They presented us with a cheque for €1010.Then, to our surprise, their employer William Grant & Sons matched the amount that they had raised.

Once again we are overwhelmed with this support and forever grateful to our wonderful community.

We are excited by the possibilities that all of the above fundraising efforts will afford us. Watch this space!
