Offaly School of Special Education ceased accepting applications for admissions for 2024-2025 on 31/01/2024. Late applications cannot be considered at this time.

Admissions Next Year
Enrolment for 2025/26 will commence in January 2025.  We anticipate having 1 place available in 2025/2026 

Applications will be accepted for 2025/2026 from 01/01/2025 -31/01/2025. Please note, early application does not increase the applicant’s chance of acceptance.  All applicants will be considered collectively after the closing date.

To help you prepare, please note the following documentation must be submitted with each application:

1) Completed Enrolment form signed by the parents or legal guardians

2) Psychological Assessment report which fulfils the following criteria:

o Report dates from within three years of a proposed starting date.

o Report confirms that the child has Severe to Profound Medical Complex needs,  Severe to Profound Non medical complex needs and or Moderate to Severe GLD/ASD.

o Report recommends that a special school placement is required.

3) Proof of address must be provided in the form of a P60, P45 or Payslip (with home address) Utility bill e.g. gas, electricity, television, broadband (must be less than 6 months old. Printed online bills are acceptable. Mobile phone bills are not acceptable)

4) Birth Certificate (This will be returned to you)
